Are We a Registered Charity?
No, we are not. We considered registering as a charity, but the amount of paperwork for such a comparatively small project is not worth it. We tried to partner with an existing registered charity, CANepal (www.canepal.org.uk) for this project, but after very long and protracted discussions (which seemed promising for a while), they decided to not work together. Anyway, we are well on the way to our goal, as you’ll be able to see from the blog, and we’ll manage without registering.
